WILL
Why Make a Will?
A Will is your personal planning device which contains your instructions and wishes to be carried out after your death. It is also a tool which assists you in managing your estate during your lifetime.
A Representation Agreement gives another the authority to make decisions relating to your health and care while you are still alive, but otherwise incapable.
When an individual passes away, before an executor can begin administering the estate, they must first obtain a grant of probate or administration from the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
If you have been disinherited or have not been sufficiently provided for in the Will of a family member, you may have a claim to vary their Will to include adequate provisions to you.
